The design of the Nube armchair juxtaposes the clean lines and right angles of contemporary architecture with the curves of the human body. The outside of Nube is all straight lines and flat parallel planes, whilst within it is cosy and curved, like a nest.

The Kettal Soft collection consists of armchairs, armchairs with adjustable backrests, and deck chairs with four backrest positions, the last of which is totally horizontal. Different sizes of dining tables are also available.

A headrest can be fitted on the backrest.

The Kettal Soft collection has a frame made of aluminium tubing with teak armrests.

16 different framework colours and 15 webbing colours in porotex fabric.

Can be fully personalised.

The Golden Egg, The world famous Egg chair designed by Danish Architect Arne Jacobsen in 1958 and manufactured by Arne Jacobsen will launch its 50th Anniversary in 2008 with 999 limited edition designs. The limited edition collection will for the first time include chocolate brown suede on the back and dark chocolate brown leather on the front.

The sophisticated combination of leather and suede is perfectly com-plimented with a base in solid bronze; hand polished to create a unique finish. The bronze base will darken in appearance, becoming more beautiful over time. Each of the 999 Eggs will be individually engraved, under the seat cushion, with a unique number and a brief text about the history and origin of the Egg chair design. A special, limited edition 50th anniversary book will also accompany the chair.

“We wanted to create something special to celebrate the golden anniversary of this legendary design cre-ated by one of the world’s most visionary architects, Arne Jacobsen” explains David Rosenkvist, Vice Presi-dent of Branding & Communication at Fritz Hansen. What can be cosier than telling heroic tales around the Qrater camp fire dish with a drink in your hand? What we did experience, is that a drink often gets tipped over when you put it on the floor when you don’t have a table around.

To enhance the storytelling atmosphere even more, extremis has opted for the comfort of a true horse saddle. You can put your drink perfectly in the middle of the stool. A leather strap relates even more to the saddle and also is the perfect handle to move or carry the stool. Moreover, it protects your drink from tipping over.

The horse saddle shape also promotes an active and straight-up seating position which is good for your spine. Not a luxury though, Qrater nights can be long…

Bronco is made of rotation moulded polyethylene. A bar stool version is currently being developed.
