New for 2008, from the company Vibia, is the Diana ceiling lamp, a very special design specifically for environments where highlighting contrast and creativity is a priority, such as lofts or pure New-York style apartments.

This unique ceiling lamp, designed by the Proli Diffusion Studio team, has an aesthetic feel halfway between Art Deco and industrial design, with the richness and sensuality of the curved forms of early 20th-century art and the functionality of contemporary industrial design.
The ceiling lamp, with concentric circles reminiscent of an archery target, comes in three finishes that allow it to fit into practically any environment: classic chrome finish, discrete white lacquer finish and impressive black lacquer finish. The light passes through a high-quality diffuser screen made from triplex opal blown glass.
The design versatility of the Diana ceiling light also extends to the type of light source; the lamp can use a halogen bulb to provide bright, intense light, or a fluorescent (energy-saving) bulb.
