Paralel, Bookshelves for contemporary spaces / Tramo

Paralel shelves are made from extruded aluminium strips and provide a totally modern and clean look, making them perfect for all types of contemporary spaces, from small apartments to lofts and offices, etc.

Like a train track, a fiberoptic cable, a highway. You can imagine these straight, parallel lines disappearing in the distance as they travel to infinity. This is the effect of the straight lines of the Paralel system from Tramo. You can use them to create miles and miles of shelving while maintaining tremendous purity of form, thanks to the combination of lightness and strength of the extruded aluminium.

Adaptable to any space: The shelves come in three lengths (88, 176 and 263 cm), but their design means that they can be joined together to create the desired length. They also come in two widths (28 and 43 cm). This great variety means that the Paralel system designed by Oriol Blanc can adapt to fit any space. The sliding doors run on a rail situated inside the strip itself, keeping the design very clean.

Combinable: The lines and finishes of the Paralel system make it a perfect match to combine with other Tramo systems, such as the TX tables. It can therefore adapt to suit different uses in domestic and professional settings.

“Mini” version: The Mini-Paralel version has been re-produced with shelves 25 cm wide and 44, 74 and 103 cm long and a white finish has been included. These shelves can be combined to make the most of otherwise unused corners and pillars.

Highly robust: An impressive 70 kg per linear meter. That’s how much weight the Paralel system shelves can take. This tremendous strength opens up a whole series of other uses.

Possibilities include the option of shelving with an accessory to attach a folder holder, essential in any work space.

Great versatility: shelves + cupboards. In the search for maximum multifunction, the designer considered the possibility of creating cupboards and containers to complete the Paralel shelving system. These cupboards have sliding glass doors in red, black, white and metallic colour finish.
