Patina Collection, Lasting Versatility / Apavisa

Used as roof coverings and on facades, the visual effect of aged copper has been during decades considered a symbol of architectural elegance, long life and distinction.

At present contemporary architects of recognized prestige (Frank Ghery, Michael Graves, Phillip Johnson, John Burgee and Antoine Preddock among others) resort to this material as a distinctive image in their work.

Apavisa has used the evolutionary stages of natural copper to develop the Patina collection, having improved those properties in which copper displays constructive shortcomings.

Full body technical porcelain that does not need maintenance, for floors and walls, suitable for exteriors and interiors, a high bending resistance (61 N/mm2), resistant to frost, chemicals, stains, thermal shock and a totally void conductivity index. Product of permanent chromatic stability and great versatility that recreates the corrosive stages of natural copper without the need for lacquer application, varnish or chemical products to stabilise the coloration.

Available in the colours Copper, Black, Green and White in sizes of 45×90 cm and 22.5×90 cm it offers like natural copper, two finishes; lappato (semi-polished) and natural, this way recreating a similar aspect to copper finishes utilized in its production techniques: laminated and electrolysis.
